MOL Logistics Launches Subsidiary in Vietnam

TOKYO - MOL Logistics (Japan) Co., Ltd. (President: Kazuki Mori) today announced the establishment of its newest subsidiary, MOL Logistics (Vietnam) Inc., which will start operations on November 14.

MOL Logistics opened a Ho Chi Minh City representative office in October 2001 and a Hanoi office in July 2003 for market research and information gathering. Many companies are taking a more active role in setting up operations in Vietnam, in a move to prevent over concentration of manufacturing centers in China. The company also opened a branch in Haiphong, a gateway port for ocean transport in the north. This move expanded the MOL Logistics network, enabling the company to provide higher value-added services to meet various customer needs.
